About Petrichor Artisan Soaps

Petrichor Artisan Soaps started as a hobby in 2018 when I (Annaliese, the owner) was 15. Since then I've loved making bath products, experimenting with different recipes, ingredients, and scents. I started selling my soaps to family and friends, and in the spring of 2021 I started stocking some of my products at Stir Coffee Bar, located in West Omaha. It is my hope to continue selling products through craft fairs, shops, and local delivery.

What is Petrichor?

"Petrichor" is a Greek word used to describe the smell of rainfall on pavement. It's inspired by childhood memories of playing out in the rain after a Spring or Summer storm in Nebraska. That is why our soaps include rainy, woodsy notes to remind you of cozy forests, thunderstorms, and the magic of after the rain.
